You can't send payments in electronically which is unacceptable for a Courts system I. This country. Waukegan needs to step theor game up and watch out for the police in Waukegan there bored around 9pm and will pull your ass over if you swerve(Lake County Sherrif)
In the days of technology and ease of online access, I find it frustrating and inconvenient that this office does NOT give out child support case information over the phone. You can bank online & over the phone; you can get medical information online/over the phone; file your income taxes online/over the phone; you can apply for public assistance/medicaid online/over the phone---but you can't get status on a child support disbursement WITHOUT physically come down to the circuit court clerk office. Save the taxpayers a little time and make information accessible (if identity can be validated). Thank you.
Easy and convenient. Parking can be difficult. Be sure to get there early.
The clerks at this courthouse are WONDERFUL!!! I have to deal with Court Staff all over the county on a daily biases and Lake County is one of the most attentive, kind and helpful of them all! Even if they can't help me with something they get me to someone who can without ever being rude!! Thank You Lake County for staffing your Courthouse with people who not only care about their job but the people they are helping!!!!!
Not even a officer that works there knows where to get a final case disposition and once I got where I need to be it was 4:40 and they tell me that is closed really and online it says at 5:00pm excuse my language but that is bs... also train your stuff better and to be respectful
