The store it's self is great. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. Now the groomers on the other hand are HORRIBLE!! I suspect that they just want to get the dogs in and out and don't even take the time to do what makes the dog feel comfortable. They sent my Shih Tzu mix home half shaved because he wouldn't let them finish so I took him back another day with a more experienced dog groomer named Michelle (which unfortunately isn't there anymore) and she finished. She explained that they my dog is more comfortable with scissors around his face and paws rather than the clippers! Now THATS a dog groomer I WANT to take my dog too. She took the time so find out what made my dog more comfortable which I greatly appreciated. The other groomers probably just wanted to finish fast and gave up on him when he didn't let them get close to his face with the clippers. This location took a MAJOR loss when Michelle left. If you want your dog genuinely cared for this place is NOT what your looking for.
In store staff is really friendly and helpful, dog groomers on the other hand, total opposite. If they don't like their job, get a different one. Dogs and their owners have to put trust in a dog groomer and this place, doesn't give me that.
Small pet shop, efficiently run, not a lot of bells and whistles, they do have a nice grooming station. They usually have what you need when you go, friendly staff, I get a kick out of Sylvia, she's a riot. Here is a hint, if there's a bunch of carts outside and you bring them in, they usually give you a discount on your purchase.
Another con is that the groomers are disrespectful and need to be trained they cut my dogs nails to short and she was bleeding for around an hour or so and than i went to the vet and payed 50 to help her
He also extended his excellent customer service by carrying my purchases out to my car for me. Nathanial not only knew the products; exponding on product suggestions and comparative price checks, he was personable ans kind.
